And I can use it. I have 114k on my truck. Today, I had the brake booster go out on me in traffic. I was pulling a 25' goosenck with a heavy F350 on it. I picked it up from a local concrete plant for a friend, Needless to say, it is coated in concrete.

back to the story

the bake booster went out. In checking to see if it was the booster or the vaccume system, i pulled of one of the vaccume lines and it had oil in it. Recall 720 was about oil in the vaccume system causing loss of brakes. And it has a 7 year unlimited mileage timeframe to it. And I thought I had all of my warenties expired or voided out. Now, i am gonna try to get My local dealer to fix the booster and all of the other vaccume stuff that has oil in it, and check to make sure the checkvalve is woring to keep the oil out. And that recall was preformed back when it was issued.

i am in awe of still having one warentee left.

wayne

ps, check your vaccume lines for oil

Make sure they check the cruise servo and the AC switches on the dash too as those were bad when mine had that recall done.

Just my 2 cents, but I agree with the AC set up; mine had it up through the selector switch and the lines to the AC/heat servos, so look close, as the stealer likes to overlook these.

My cruise control servo was loaded and the brake booster line was contaminated, so it does go EVERYWHERE!

Good Luck
