He has no turn signals, no emergency flashers and no brake lights.



The fusses appear to be ok



From a friend who has a 99 CTD. Naturally this happens on a holiday.

I ran into a similar problem on a first get that turned out to be a fusable link at the battery. You know, where a big wire (about 10 ga. ) necks down right before attaching to the battery. Worth taking a look.

Fuses #4 and #5, both 20A, in the PDC supply juice for these circuits. Does the CHMSL (3rd brake light) light when the brakes are applied? If those fuses check out OK, and the CHMSL lights up, it's probably a bad multi-function switch (in the steering column - steering wheel needs to be removed to change).



It's also possible the hazard switch is stuck - won't hurt to fiddle with that a bit, before ripping the steering column apart.
