Holley power shot air filter.

Was wondering if anybody is using or has used one in the past. On the holley web page they claim to have more flow than the K&N. Both are about the same price, I was just looking for some info before I buy.

Holley Performance Products® will not be responsible for other expenses incurred by the customer under the terms of the warranty. Holley Performance Products® will not be responsible for any damages; either consequential, contingent, special, or otherwise, and no expenses for injury arising directly or indirectly from the use of the Power ShotTM air filter element



Apparently they don't have any more faith in their filter than K&N does. They have the same warranty (warranty disclaimer). I won't use a product that the manufacturer doesn't trust.

The only gauze air filter that will find its way under my hood is the AFE. The latest version is 7 layers if I'm not mistaken. That's not to say there aren't other good gauze type filters out there, it's just that I'm not familiar with them.

Does the AFE filter have a different warranty than the K&N. Would they accept responsibility to damage caused by the filter. :-{}
