Anybody heard of/seen/tried this air filter? It is part # HLY-221-7 at Summit Racing. Got a friend with a Dodge Cummins who was asking me about it, I'm not familiar with it... .

He said they claim the oil they use on the filter will not damage intake sensors... obviously an application for gas engines?

Well i was curious too, so I sent an email to Holley (9/20)with a few questions... ... so far no response back yet.

I was thinking bout getting one for use with my AirBullDog Hood.

I have been using this filter for two months now. I was using the K&N and had no complaints but I was worried about how it sealed in the airbox. The Powershot filter fit in my Box Extremely well and doesn't need any grease on the seal. IMHO It is the best aftermarket filter that I have ever used.

Thanks, MCampbell & KatDiesel... . Can you tell us more about it? Does it come in other than "stock" configurations, like the cone-type K&N RE-0880 ? Or is it only available to fit the stock airbox?

I asked Holley the same question Briar. Thats what I am waiting on. I asked what their biggest "cone" filter was. I might just order some I see listed and go from there. I'll be buying a "Stock" one when I get my AirBullDog hood on. I'll let ya know if and when i ever get a reply.

Holly was no help when I tried

Kat, et. al.

I made email contact and it took almost two weeks for them to respond. No cross reference for the RE-0880.

Got a tech phone number... . lost it since... . called and talked to a tech who said that since this was such a new undertaking, they didn't yet have anything like the RE. Said to inquire after the first of the year.

Maybe you'll have better luck.
