Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Holset compressor wheels

Ok, I'm looking for some people with some turbo knowledge. I've picked up a couple used turbos and want to know what is best for what situation. I've got two compressor wheels:



1) HX40 Wheel #3537172

6 Blade

Inducer 54mm

Exducer 84mm



2) HX35 Wheel #(haven't pulled it apart yet)

8 Blade

Inducer 56mm

Exducer 82mm



I know when comparing 35 wheels it's all about going 56-->58-->60mm but what does exducer size and blade count contribute?

anybody... . anybody..... Is there that little knowledge about turbos on here? Gotta be some engineers around here somewhere as well as people with experience and testing and wisdom.

What is the part number of the turbos?

would you like serial numbers etc off tag or cast numbers from center section... . ? I only have the tag for the hx40. are those what you want?

I know very little about turbos and parts, but when I was checking into an HX 40 pinwheel, they had about 70 listings. I would guess it might be similar for the 35.
