Holset Super 40 Turbo install

Anyone install a Holset Super 40 Turbo and how well do they work?

They are older technology, and not used very often anymore. The Super HX40 runs the same compressor wheel as the HE351 found on 04. 5-07 trucks, with a weaker shaft. The spool on the HE351 is better, but the drive pressure on the HX40 is better. It's all what you are looking for, but it's not a plug and play with a 3rd gen.

Interesting, I know it wil require some mods to get it in, but not sure how much, I know I will need a 90 degree elbo to the intercooler, do I need a new down pipe?

Yes it requires a new down pipe.
