Holset turbos

Went thru the Holset turbo plant today,(We are installing a new roof on the entire plant. ) I saw no less then 10. 000 turbo chargers. It made my mouth water, anyway I am going to talk to the head man to see about a couple test turbos for a few select members He said they make every turbo for every diesel truck in the entire USA. I'll keep everyone posted. John

I have spent more time in the holset shop then I have on the roof ! I am getting a free education on turbo charging and these folks will answer just about any question you can throw at them. I think the boss is coming in town tomorrow so I will keep everybody posted. John

Ask them to give you a compressor map and a turbine map!Oo.

So you got two jobs now, punch in with the roof co. And then punch in for Holset and work for them on there quality assurance

panel. Sounds pretty good, I don't think I would spend to much time on the roof if I was at a place like that. You probably feel like a kid in a candy store. Oo. Oo. Oo. Hey if you get any samples Id like to get one please.

While your there see if you can find out to things for us, that would be what is the largest turbo they make and what it goes on and what is the smallest turbo they make and what it goes on.

But don't for get I like to get one of those samples if you get any.

I am going to ask all these questions as soon as I find out who thr real boss is (they all think there the real boss) You wouldn't believe how many turbo chargers they through away every day. They are laying around everywhere . I am going straight to the top on Monday to get some answers. John

Thanks. Smalleat is the HX 20 It's gasoline applications. The Largest is the HX 100, It's used on power generating stations.

You should have seen the look on his face, I think he thought I was a spy or something. I was in the testing lab today And the guy was pretty cool. You guys give me some questions to ask him and I'll do my best to get the answers. John
