4BT Jeep conversion ?

Cummins conversion Vids.

sounds like a good idea. thought about this before why not our "B" engine already has a little brother in the industrial sector. A four cylinder Turbo Diesel, 6 speed in a Jeep Wrangler talk about some four wheel rock climbing, wow, just keep a balanced package and nothing will stop you.

I'm right on the edge of calling BS on this. If it was a military prototype there would be alot of different stuff under the hood. See the aircleaner? Just a filter with a band clamp on it. Fuse block not sealed, just common Jeep. Factory gauges don't work? After market gauges down under the dash? He has the proof paper work, and can't find it right now? I think somebody did a nice conversion, and got tired or whatever, and sold it. Either this guy is trying to pull a fast one, or the guy before him did!

My $. 02! ;)

The guy has zero feedback, I'm thinking it's a scam anyways maybe I'm wrong but it probably a picture of one of the african jeeps painted green.

I don't see a claim it was specifically a "military" prototype, just a rework done by an outfit called "Commercial Military Systems" - maybe just a setup some private outfit worked up as a test for possible commercial sales - looks very neatly and professionally done - will be interesting to see what it eventually sells for, if the reserve is met.

The 3. 3L is a good motor. It is used in the Doosan (formerly Daewoo) forklifts we sell. This guy is listed as Washington Georgia. That is about 45 minutes from me! I would LOVE to go look at this thing! It seems interesting but I would not be interested n a hatchet job at all.

Not a new idea

Jeep had the Perkins Diesel engine as an option in the late 1960's. All it needed was a turbo. GregH
