Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Received package today, and sure enough, return address is Diesel Dynamics... tear it open, and there sit 6 beautiful Stage 3, 100 HP injectors... . I was so excited. Oo. Oo.
So, go get in-lb. torque wrench from mechanic friend and go to work. Time pickup shut off, 2:15 P. M..... Time pickup restarted, 5:18 P. M. A little longer than I had anticipated (everyone said 1. 5-2 hours) but no biggie... I was working by myself, and took my time.
First impressions..... OH MY GOD, WOW!!! Only ran it with comp on 5x5 once, and surprisingly, the fuel psi only went to 4... which is higher than it used to go on 5x5, so I'm pleased with that... unfortunately, EGT's went to 1500* after only about 8 seconds, so we're going to have to watch that. Running around with box on 1x5, smoke every time you push the go-fast-pedal. 1x3 is more manageble. Position 2 and up and there's no stopping the smoke. Seat-o-the-pants meter showed a dramatic increase... . with box off, it feels just like box on 3x3. With box on 1x5, feels like waaaaay more than 5x5 used to. 5x5 is just amazing, but the smoke is really awesome!! I'm gonna have to get some vids of it w/ the roomates digital and post them.
Ok, enough talking. Now I gotta save for the 4" (yes, I don't have a 4" exhaust yet, but will be aquiring one soon) and the PDR HX-40... then it'll be more Oo. Oo.

Oh, my friend w/ the Ford V10 got a ride and just went :--) OMG. I smiled and said "yeah, and think, I'm not done yet. " Oh, yeah, I'm at 5000' altitude too, so thats contributing to some of the smoke.
