4" or 5" exhaust

Powertrax No-Slip letting go

Welcome back Michael... I was looking for a link to your website but came up empty handed.

You described building your own 5" exhaust on the website, where did you buy the fittings and pipe?

Truck supply places have 5" stuff, I went another route and ordered a 10' stick of 5" but the 4' sections they sell will work just fine, for the over the axle part you will just have to pull the pieces off the shelf and mock them up on the floor to get what you want, for the muffler I run a truck resonator that is 16 inches long... ... . no drone on the road!

acklands [up here in canada] or grainger [in the usa] have all kinds of stuff too... ordering from mcmaster is real easy for canadians. i ordered some checkvalves and some other small stuff a while back. no hassles at all, but with the exchange rate it hurts the pocket a bit...

Like Jim said, I purchased all of my 5" exhaust from Fleetpride, a big rig store. I have run the 5" exhaust for over 3 years now and have had zero problems. I used the 16" long resonator for two years before switching to a 48" long straight through muffler. I am much happier with the muffler because the exhaust is super quiet. If I remember correctly, to get over the rear axle I used two 90* and one 45* elbows.

Michael I may have to come see you next year after my truck is paid off... ... . to build me a set of twins!Oo.

I like the stump pull'n part in your very first post! and if it pulls all the way to 2800 that's fine with me!Oo.
