"Sticky" paint primer for equipment?

I'm looking to build a new computer for myself. I am wanting to use the Intel P4 2. 0 processor, I know there are cheaper ones that will work. I need some sources for the other parts. My old store went out of business. If you have any recommendations on motherboards, ect, feel free to bash/praise as needed.

When I was working in the business of IT and PC repair, I used a company called MotherboardsDirect. www.motherboardsdirect.com

They've been around for a long time and always gave me good customer service. However I never really used them for technical support so I don't know if that is any good. Also, the good old CompUSA or even Best Buy type computer stores have good prices on some parts. Shopping there is usually a good experience unless you have to talk to a sales person. They are clueless morons. Kind of like Dodge dealer service!

A general rule I always used, Don't buy the Fastest, top of the line stuff. Go a step or two down and the price will be almost half and you probably won't be able to tell the difference in speed anyway. Its going to be obsolete in a month or two anyway so don't sweat it.

Have fun!

If you have a Fry's nearby they are hard to beat. . plus if there's a problem you can take it back without involving the mail. If your looking online, I like www.newegg.com.

And as a matter of fact, there are some motherboard reviews for that processor hot off the press today at www.tomshardware.com , (the p4 and ddr333 memory is a nice combo... but IMHO stay away from VIA like the plague, go for the Intel chipset).
