Home security installers?

OK, we've gt just about every occupation imaginable and some unimaginable here. Are there any home security installers here?

Ive got some questions.

No but I have an opinion. I let someone talk me into a system when I had a house in the suburbs. First off, they put out the leaders for a wired system. I did not want my trim disturbs so I went wireless. System price about doubled. They never said squat about protecting the phone cable. I learned that myself. Put the cable in conduit or better yet, go wireless with the transmitter in the attic or somewhere. Best part was though, living with the system. Come home, don't forget to disarm or the cops will come post haste. My deaf wife learned that one day when she decided to check something after pulling into the garage. She went out the back door and set it off.



My opinion: a big dog, make that two big dogs, mean too. Next, a big gun, say like a 12 guage riot gun.
