Homemade cold air intake

Hey guys I just joined the forum a bit ago and was looking for intake stuff. I noticed that someone posted a reply on another post and said that he had made his own cold air intake system with a drop in amsoil filter. It said that he had found the idea in the last TDR issue. Like I said I just joined so I dont have that issue. Can someone give advice on how to make one (pics would help) Any help would be greatly appreciated.
