I know someone here can help out with a clutch. I have the 96 Honda Passport also the same as Isuzu Rodeo. The truck has 144,000 miles and I am sure its real close to needing a clutch but I have no slippage. The pedal does come up pretty high before engagement. The problem that I am having is that its difficult to get into 1st or reverse. Can this be a sign that the clutch is going bad or is that a slave cylinder that's going bad? I see no leakage from the slave or master cylinder as of yet. I don't want to have to replace clutch just yet if its just a slave or master cylinder problem. Thanks for any help! T4L

Curious, 2.6L or 3.2L?

T4L,

The above question doesn't change the possible causes or solutions, but it is of interest to me. I have some ideas.

I'll check in the AM, then send you a reply via PM. I'm on Pacific time right now.
