Thanks, TDR Staff

Guess he should have bought a Dodge

Lets start a story

I am surprised no one has posted anything on the passing of a legend, and an awesome singer, and actor. . Jerry Reed Passed away yesterday at the young age of 71... Take some time to reflect on the good times, movies, and music he brought to us... Sorry if I am being nostalgic, but Jerry had a very sweet spot in my heart... Nothing was better than cruising down the highway in a big black shiny Pete, at 85-90 MPH, all lit up and listening to "East Bound and Down" or any of the other Truck Driving favorites he once brought to us, even though I would rather be in a big K-Whopper W900A with an old Cat 3406A, or Big Cam 444 Cummins ... I am going to miss him, and I am sure some of y'all will too...

Long Live the Snowman!!!!!!

I was surprised that he had accomplished so much, many just one or two, but for him a book full, sure did make countless number of people feel good about themselves and world, a fountain of entertainment, sadly so few around like him, and sadder yet to see him go. He will be remembered for a very long time, his talent is ageless.

I am really aggravated now, because on Fridays, at 5PM Central, on XM 10, they have "That Thing" that they play, and nothing... I thought that of all times, the one person that they would remember would be the one who leads off the first 5 songs of "That Thing"... . I am about to write a little nasty-gram to the DJ's, and give them a piece of my mind. . Oh well, I'll be within earshot, you keep it wound up to around 90, 10-4, Snowman!!!!

anyone catch the price of diesel in that video?

He will deffinitly be remembered

One thenth the price of what it is now!

I for one will miss him. I always liked Burt in those movies when I was a kid, but my dad always said the "Snowman" was who really made those movies really enjoyable. Except the 3rd one was a real flop. Anyways... Watching them now, Jackie was really the funniest to watch. My kids crack up and can't stop every time he comes on scene. Funny stuff. But I digress.

Reed's music was great, and his guitar playing was unique and all his own! His lyrics and carrying-on was, and is, enjoyable. Funny, talented man.
