Hood Question

I'm looking for a good quality cowl hood to cool off my under hood temps.

I don't want any kind of ram air vent in the front. I havn't had very good luck finding any. Also should I stay with steel or switch to fiberglass. If any one out there can help me deside and point me in the right direction I'd be very greatful. Thanks again TDR for being there one again!

I was looking at just putting some louvers in the stock hood. There was an ad in the back of Diesel power a few months ago and the place had all different sizes. I thought this would be a lot cheaper(around $150) than a $500 hood and the cost of painting. Just a suggestion.

I too am considering adding some louvers to my stock hood. If anybody's done the same, would appreciate any feedback as to the pros and cons of this.
