2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Hood spring on driver side broke

It sounded like the motor fell out of the truck. I went down to the Dodge garage to order a new hood spring. They said I needed both sides which I did not. Plus they wanted to charge me 5 hours labor to install. I prop the hood up with three broom handles and 5 bolts and lifted the hood hinge out and install the new one. Time was 20 minutes at the most. It a very easy job on my 1995.

They were getting a little greedy were they! The job probably was beneath them to do.
