Guys, can somebody explain exactly how I should hook up my pyro and boost gauge. The ones I got dont have very good instructions and I'm dumb!

Wirenut, At the start on the TDR website. Pull up Product reviews. They have a few pages on installing one from Westtach. I run the Banks setup. Very easy to install. "Personally" I would install Pre-turbo and not post-turbo. You will need to drill the ehx. manifold. PLEASE, stuff a shop rag into the post your drilling past the drilling area. After drilling and tapping. Run a magnet around the inside. Pull the rag out then do the magnet again. This will stop the metal from getting into the turbo. The boost is soooooo simple. On mine there was a hex plug on the intake side that I removed. Used the plug adapter with teflon tape run my lines, and tightened down the connections. My guages are mounted close to the Wait to start light under cowl or top of dash. Just personal thoughts on mounting. I "thought the TST web sight had info on the install on their site as well" Do a search for pyro install on TDR I know you will get the needed info. HTH, Mike

Wirenut lets start with the boost gauge first. There is a 1/8" pipe plug on the side of the intake manifold near the center. The boost gauge should have a tubing kit with it. Replace the pipe plug with the fitting thats comes in the tubing kit, run the other end of the tubing back to the fire wall and over to the rubber plug located near the steering shaft. Poke a hole through and run the tubing into the cab. You will have to decide how to mount the gauges. For gauge lighting I used the four wire connector thats already under the dash for the Dodge tachometer. There is a 12 volt feed from the light swith that controls the lighting for the rest of the dash. I don't have my service manual at the moment to look up the color of the wire. If you need it let me know.
On the Exhaust Gas temp gauge you will have to decide if you want the thermocupler before or after the turbo. TST's web page has instructions on mounting the thermocupler. Run the wiring back to the same place where the boost tubing went through the fire wall. Wire the lighting in series with the boost gauge.
Good luck.

Quick tip with the tubing for the boost gauge.
On mine it was a tight fit between the throttle bracket and the fitting, the tubing has to make a tight turn. Use a heat gun or lighter to warm up the tubing and bend it into the shape you want. It keeps the kinks out of the tubing that would make your gauge sluggish. The tubing is soo stiff that the warming helps to make the bend.
Food for thought!!

I was thinking that when I was hooking it up, I was just in a hurry to get the gauges in. I have about 100 of 90 fittings to tubing here at work. Just too rushed before a long camping trip. #ad
