Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Hooya! DTT/DD/EZ ROCKS!

I've got a Better Off Modified BABY, Yea! Oh what a feeling! I've got the Heartbeat of America! I have grabbed Life by the Horns and it FEELS GOOD!!! Bill and the team at DTT did the install of an 89% TQ, VB, DDII, Smart Controller, a new transmission case, and a steel braided cooler line on Thursday and Friday. I installed the EZ Saturday and the "Turnbuckle" today - WOW! 28 pounds boost, EGTs in check, and haulin' a$$. I fully expect this rig to haul my big-a$$ load about anywhere I want to go. As many have said, it's like driving a new truck. Thanks to Bill, Shanti, Stephan, and crew for a top notch job. Your customer service IS second to NONE. I'm a believer.

Hey welcome aboard. My upgrade happened about 5 mos ago and I find myself still showing off. I will continue with the upgrades but I will try to keep it at the track. Running Powerstrokes and Chevys off the road might put a ding in my paint job.

very happy with this same combination. Although I'm still thinking about injectors. It sure makes a better truck out of an already great one.

Bill found a crack in I think it was a selonoid piston section. When I saw the case, it was poorly machined and scored all along the machined sections. Poor craftsmanship by the machinest or machine operator. Where the crack was would have developed into a leak which would have caused premature failure of the transmission according to Bill.

I live in Oak Harbor and am in the Navy. I stay pretty busy with the job and travel a fair amount of time (imagine that). I've not been to any of the NW bombers events thus far but do keep up with the web site at times. Having just upgraded, I'm going to the Dyno Mite ralley in December in Monroe. The guys I work with who drive Rams are pretty content with their trucks stock. Maybe I can drag a couple with me.



If you get up to the north end of the island, give me a yell. We can BS over a cool libations here at the house or at one of the watering holes in town.
