Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Hope its fixed

Has anyone ever had a map sensor go bad on their 01? I wrote a while ago about a stall around twenty-five hundred rpm. Some suggested lift pump. I took it to the dealer for warranty work and they said the map sensor was telling the computer there wasn't enough fuel. I told them to check the fuel pressure and who knows how they diagnosed it. Just got it out of the shop and am going to test it myself. Let me know if what they told me about the map sensor and such sounds odd or normal or if they are hiding from the problem. I don't have a lot of faith in the place because they have already put a seal in the transfer case, two days later it is leaking again. Come to find out they didn't check to see if the vent was working properly and that is why it blew the seals out the second time. Is it me or does it make perfect sense to check the vent tube or orfice when you replace a seal?

Dealer replaced my MAP sensor because my boost would drop to zero while accelerating then jump back up.
