horizontal filter mount

Has anyone mounted the amsoil bypass filter in the horizontal position? Is it ok to be mounted like this. The directions recomend in the vertical position and says 45 degrees is ok. They also show it alligned in the horizontal position but it doesn't say if its recommended or not.

Im looking at mounting it under the passengers seat on the frame, but horizontal is abount all that will work.



any thoughts.....

You shouldn't have a problem but you'll probably have a mess when you change the filter though.
