I brought my truck in for service about 5 weeks ago and told them my horn would honk when the wheel was tilted non stop. they said a wire was grounding out and the fixed it. $88. 00 later. now for the last few day the thing don't work at all. I really dont want to go back to the dealer to get charged again. does any one know how to repair this or replace, maybe wire diagrams. thanks louie...

Some people don't like to mess with the horn controls because they are integral with the air bag, but I fixed my own when the horn wouldn't stop. I disconnected the batteries and let the truck sit for 30 minutes (as per service manual) I then took the fasteners out of the back side of the steering wheel and removed the airbag / horn controls. You will probably find that they either didn't connect the wires properly or that the grounded wire finally broke because it had previously been crushed. By chance you have checked the fuse and relay right? It's pretty easy work to do yourself you just have to be careful.

Under the hood on the left side just behind the battery there is a black box, take the cover off and there is a fuse and a relay for the horn.
