How do I disable the horn from honking when I back up with the door open. That is driving me insane!

Just another stupid idea to save us from our ourselves and DC from the lawyers  DC even sent out recalls for earlier trucks to have this idiotic "safety feature" programmed into them. If you keep a foot on the brake I think you are OK, if your butt comes off the seat or your foot off the brake while the truck is in gear, it will start honking and flashing the lights. What a great feature for those of us who hook up trailers to our trucks regularly.

Locate your drivers seat belt buckle and follow it down till you see the 2 wires going into the buckle, Try a scotch lock across those two. That completes the circuit same as with the buckle latched. Let us know if that works as I have recommended that before but have not heard back if it does.
