Horn / In gear needs to go!

How do I disable the horn blow while in gear with the door open. If I am moving trailers around sometimes I need to stick my head out and look while backing.



Worse yet, it started the other day and wouldn't stop. I had to put it back in to gear and take it out to get it to stop.

I got yet another recall notice for my 04 out of park alarm. Stories like yours keep me from getting it done.

Check the battery on the drivers side for an inline fuse. When they add the "out of park alarm" they mount a relay on the firewall and take power from the battery on the drivers side. If you remove the fuse the alarm will not get power.
