What kind of Horspower could I expect to get from my truck with these mods??

2002 H. O 6 speed Trans. 4:10 gears, 33 X 12. 50 R16 Tires

Edge Drag Comp (with pumped tapped)

150 HP Inectors

Honed Out Injector Feeder Tubes

Fass Fuel System

Phat Shaft 66 Super Turbo

Haisley Street Puller Clutch

Anyone have any ideas????

Mine's at 460hp with Mach 2s and a standard Comp. The 150hp injectors should put you closer to 500hp.

Why do you think you need the honed out crossover tubes?

i'd say real close to 500. nearly identical mods to mine were on a truck with 35's and 4. 10 and it was 490ish. i haven't heard anything good about the feed tubes (until the 700hp range)

The honed out feeder tubes basically feed the injectors with more fuel. I was told by Doug Conrad from Advanced Diesel Technology and Kent Crowder of Scheid that with the stock feeder tubes in place you don't get the maximum performance from the injectors. .

i don't have the threads in front of me to quote, but i recall that there were more leaks and not much performance gains until you get to the ~200hp sticks. from the mods you are describing, i would think the stock tubes would be better, if only because of less headaches! just my . 02 !!

well I've heard stories of the feeder tubes leaking but my question is were they installed properly, were they clean etc. . It doesn't take but a spec of dirt to get in there to cause a leak. Kent and Doug both told me not to put the tubes in anything under the 150's cuz they would create some idle issues but they also said anything with 150's and up no worries. A friend of mine as a set of tubes in his truck with 150's and no probs from his yet...

500

JStrosnider,

with 150s you will be 450-475. with the 175 hp sticks ive got i broke over at 503 hp, havent yet dynoed with my new HTB2 but it should put me at 520-525 hp, with 175 hp injectors it can make my truck idle a little funky at times but other than that ive never had any problems. Good luck bombing :D ... . Jeremy

Well 450-475 isn't exactly what I was hoping for but I guess it will have to do. . I was hoping to at least break 500. . But who knows every truck and every engine is different.

It may depend on the injectors, but I dyno'd 565hp with 150hp injectors (Mach 4's), and a drag comp. That was with the twins, but I dyno'd 510hp with the same setup and a single. This was on a dynojet, and uncorrected. I think you will be over 500.

Very true it also depends where you start from. Total stock (Soo long ago :-laf ) my truck did a 244. ? out the back wheels. And yes there were LOTS of people to see it.

As Long as I'm over 500 HP I'll be happier than a puppy with 2 peters. . As far as the 600 HP race?? I don't know if I'll be able to convince the wife to allow me to go any higher (might have to get a new one) :-laf LOL. I think for right now as long as I'm over 500 I'll be pretty darn happy. . I guess my future mods will have to be a locker for the front axle so I can show the fords how to drag a sled. . LOL :-laf

Ok, here's my guess. For my comparison sakes lets consider my truck (HO, 6sp, 4. 10) is at 387 on 85hp injectors, stock turbo and a regular comp (before I got the Smarty). So lets say take my (+-) 390 + 65 additional or so for the injectors = 455. I'm going to guess you have plenty of fuel for that big turbo so I'm guessing you can burn it all. I'll take a stab and say at least 50hp for the turbo. That puts you at 505. Plus you have the wild cards with the "Drag" option so you can fuel longer and the honed feed tubes. I don't know how to put a hp value on either but I would think that would give you an additional pad and even if you throw in a margin of error, I'd say you should legitimately be all over 500 or doggone close. Put it on the dyno and let us know. Sounds like a strong set up.

I'm really hoping it will be over 500HP and I'm hoping to get it on a dyno soon. But the biggest problem is there is only one place around here that has a dyno and I'd prefer not to use it due to the fact of competitive reasons (sled pulling). I'm going to try to find a dyno a little ways away from where I live. I just don't want to go advertising what kind of HP I have just yet. I want to let people wonder a lil bit. But when I do I'll definately let ya know!!!! I hope your right and I'm over 500!!!
