Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Horsepower/tourqe ratings for a nv4500?

Does anybody know what they say an nv4500 transmission will hold up 2? I had mine rebuilt in late december and just shelled 3rd gear out again! Same thing happened last time shifted into 3rd gear and rolled into the throtle to build up speed and grrzgj bang no teeth or 3rd gear again! And on a side note how hard is it 2 swap in a 6spd? If ne body has done it and whats involved?

Read back a few weeks to a thread by GAmes. He recently installed a G-56 in his '97 Ram 3500. He did the installation himself and posted some digital photos of the procedure.

I always understood the torque ratings on the NV 3500, 4500 and 5600 to equal one zero removed from the model number. If that is not exact it is close.
