About six months ago I bought a '94 12 valve, the best thing I have ever bought to drive. When I bought it, it had a #6 plate and the timing was advanced and they put a southbend clutch in it. After a couple of months I put a set of Marine Injectors in it and through on a 4" exhaust system for it. Then I figure I needed some gauges, now I have them too. My question for you is: Should I keep it the way it is or should I go to a more agressive Plate like a #10, that's what I want anyway, is that too much or what plate should I go too. If so a #10 How much of a horse power gain will that give me? I figure I'm around 300hp right now.

Hey thanks for your time and opinion

What Southbend clutch do you have? With a 10 plate you will be making some nice power. With an #11 plate My Con O is at its limit and a #10 would make it holler Uncle but I also have the 215hp pump to start with, see mods below.

the 10 will give you less hp than the 6 just a fatter bottom end, sounds like you need some air system up grades now.
