Is there anyone that has a first generation that has a Horton fan on it. I seem to be having a problem finding the location to put the Thermo switch for the engine temperature.
My other problem is the A/C refrigerant Pressure Switch. The instructions that came with it, seem to fit the second generation, not the first generation.

I would appreciate any help that I can get from someone that has the Horton on a first gen.

Hi Rodney
I put my thermo switch right on top of the thermostat housing, there's a plug up there that you can remove. The A/C switch will install on to the high pressure port which is located on the passanger side just above the air filter housing. Remove the cap that looks like a tire valve cap and screw the A/C switch on to that port. I tested mine with a little soapy water - works just fine. You will have to extend the wire with some 16ga wire. Hope this helps and Good Luck.
Happy Trails.

Thanks for the reply, it was a hassle putting it on. Main thing was the instructions were for a second generation. The bracket they sent, was for a second generation, so I had to build one. The instuctions wasn't much help, when it came to the wiring harness. If they would have sent me the right things, it would have been a piece of cake to do, but it didn't happen that way.
