horton fan revisited

Hey guys,



I'm looking for a way to draw air through the transmission cooler and I want to have it switched. Is there an electric fan set up that will work on my 98 auto 4x4? It seems that there is only about 1. 5" to work with in front of the trans cooler. Am I going to be stuck forking out the bucks for a Horton fan clutch?

I don't know the specifics on your truck as far as clearance, but do you want to replace the stock fan or do you just want to add another fan to the transmission cooler. If you just want to add a fan to the transmission cooler call SUMMIT racing at 1800-230-3030 or visit online. They have an extensive list of electric fans, to cool car radiators and some smaller ones for transmission coolers. Hope this helps, drop me a note on what you do. I am interested in a horton for my truck when the stock goes out.
