Hoses And Belt?

Getting ready to change my hoses and belt on my 01. Looking at Genos Garage stuff I was wondering how does Dayco, Fleetguard, and Mopar parts compare. Is the Mopar worth the extra$. Thanks,Frank

Mopar parts are re-badged Fleetguard products. Save your money and go with the Fleetguard stuff. I would go with a Goodyear Gator(?) belt. Just my opinion.

I have found over the years that I get better service/longer life from Dayton hoses and belts. bg

Thanks Gents . Ill follow your advice. Say mr mberry Would you happen to be aquianted with a dear friend of mine in Reno? Name is George G. He rebuilds cars and Dodge Cummins trucks in his backyard. Pretty good at it too. Also quite a worldwide game hunter. Last time I talked to him he had a 2003 2500 black quad cab. If you see him tell him Frank said hi. Thanks

Thanks for the alternatives BG. I hadn't heard of Dayton before. I'm really only brand loyal to Fleetguard oil and fuel filters.



Frank, sounds like someone I would like to know but I'm not familiar with him. Tell him I've got a 1956 Chevy pickup he can have if he wants it. No one here seems to be interested in a project vehicle that is that rough.
