Just recently had the delightful experience of changing all of the hoses on my truck, eleven in all. Anybody else have to do this? All of them were starting to leak especially the ones on the lower heater lines at the block and the trans cooler can on the engine. Always have kept up with the maintenance although once I think I used some pond water from the farm, once. If you ever have to buy the hoses, Dodge has a great deal, they are so reasonably priced that it almost makes sense to trade it in with some Barrs Leak on a new truck.

Found my radiator WAY low on coolant a few days ago. I started fearing that I had blown another head gasket. After a little searching I found that the lower hose on the radiator where it goes into the block was leaking. PHEW!

Talk about a relief.
