Hot Restart Problem

I have a friend with an '05 with about 160,000 miles. It suddenly developed a hot restart problem. It starts perfectly when cold, runs fine,good power, and no smoke issues. Once hot and shut down, it will not restart until it cools for a while, or he gives it a whiff of starting fluid. I gave him a spare crank sensor to try, but was thinking FCA. The lift pump runs every time you turn the key. Wouldn't an injector leaking down also cause hard starting when cold?

He's a good egg, and I don't want to see him get fleeced at the dealer.

Time for injector, same thing happen on a buddy's truck and new ones fixed the problem.

Yep, I agree with injectors leaking.

Thanks for the replies, guys. I'll pass along the info. What's the least expensive replacement injectors for someone who works the truck hard, and wants to stay stock(no box, etc. )?
