The Blue Chip cover has been known to have problems. I'd start there. Go to the pump wire. Depending on what was done to the pump to make it a Hot Rod, the Comp might not be able to make it do much more. Do you know what has been done internally?

I've got that setup on my 98 and it works good for me.

I could only dyno on 3x5 because my clutch was slipping and I got 336. 1/797. 9

so I was pretty happy with this setup
