hot wire for sollenoid switch?

I AM LOOKING TO HOOK UP MY 10 AMP SWITCH, FOR A DUMP CYL. I WAS GOING TO USE THE HEATED MIRROR FUSE SPOT, IN THE FUSE PANEL. GOOD BAD ? LET ME KNOW IF THIS WILL WORK OK. THANKS KP

I like to get closer to battery / before any thing in fuse pannel [ if you start spliting off a circuit that has aready ben size for a use & you add to it , now you can have problems ] with out know what truck , yr , mod , ect.
Look for an accessory connection [ heavy wire ] .
I may be missing something , but what is your , dump cyl. ?
And how much does it draw ?

Hi The Main Amp Draw Is From The Battery To The Pump, Number Two Wire. The In Cab Switch Is Just To Turn The Pump On 2-3 Amps?. i Do Not Have Heated Mirrors. That Is Why Its A Good Hot Lead. maybe,kp

That should not be an issue then , when you say dump cyl. , does that mean for a dump truck ?
You should go to the user control pannel and fill in info on truck so its easyer for folks to help answer ???
