29019 miles divided by 666 hours= 43. 57 Avg miles per hour.

I'm at around 24,000 miles and 600 hours = 40 MPH, give or take a bit. Once you look at your average speed, it should be more clear why 4. 10 gears don't affect milage all that much for most of us.

I was just in for warranty work. The dealer didn't record the hourmeter. I don't think they know it's there.

My Brother in law has a '05 Dakota. That has an hourmeter too.

Makes a big diference what for average speed you come up with depending on if you let it idle a lot. I have a '03 I want to check it sometime see what it says. I'm a big idler but then again I don't run my '03 much I drive the '01 most of the time that is MY truck!!!!
