I'm at around 24,000 miles and 600 hours = 40 MPH, give or take a bit. Once you look at your average speed, it should be more clear why 4. 10 gears don't affect milage all that much for most of us.
You guys need to move somewhere where theres more 5 minute red lights and 3 second green lights . My truck always figures 31. + mph each time I check it.
Yikes--I've owned the truck for 2 1/2 years. That means I've spent 188 (24 hour) days or 20% of my time sitting in that front seat! No wonder my butt prints are permanently indented there! Jeff
Makes a big diference what for average speed you come up with depending on if you let it idle a lot. I have a '03 I want to check it sometime see what it says. I'm a big idler but then again I don't run my '03 much I drive the '01 most of the time that is MY truck!!!!
