Houston Breakfast, August 22nd

I know, it's technically not the 3rd Sunday of they month, but it is the third full weekend in August.



Same bat time, same bat buffet. 8:30 am at the Golden Corral on 610 and Main.



See y'all there, I hear we may have a visitor from out of town that weekend too. I hope so.







BTW, I hear Bill might not bring his truck this time, wonder what he's got up his sleeve.

You have no idea how close I was to going back. I was in line (and had accepted) a contract position in the green zone doing network engineering and voice work. When I got the contract, i discovered I would have no disability coverage when I was there. At that point, I said HELL NO!.



I might get deployed in the future, but at this point in time I am going to stay here at least through the end of the year.
