Tech talks for May Madness '01

Just trying to get a good headcount on anyone interested in a Dyno day. The shop charges $55 for 2 pulls. If we get enough interest, maybe we can get a day rate. Not sure about that yet.

I'm not trying to set a date as everything has not been confirmed yet. If your interested let me know.

Yep, I'd like to check my current setup. 275's, VA & boost module. I also have a hot PE that I haven't connected yet. My clutch isn't gonna like it.

95' 2500 standard trans. 2wd reg cab 125,000 miles.
TST #4 plate kit, 370 Diamond B injectors, Afc spring kit, Gov. spring kit,TST's fuel pressure adapter and 2 guage pillar mount, SPA EGT/Boost guage. Joe D's Sachs clutch is in.

91 4x4, 5 speed, 3. 54 gears, pw injectors, 12cm turbo housing, K&N air filter, "tweaked" pump, isspro boost and pyro gagues w/A pillar mount, straight piped 3' exhaust
 
Definatly want to try the DYNO. Also try any other boxes available. Watching for the date.

99 3500 QC, white, 5sp, 3. 55lsd, isspro EGT & boost, 48,000 miles 11-11-00- (EX phord owner) 15-16. 5 MPG hwy ,14-15 city , 10-12 with 4,000lb TT
1500 - 3000 in 4th = 13 sec
VA,1500- 3000 in 4th = 10 sec
275,1500 - 3000 4th = 11. 15 sec
slight mpg increase both ways.
VA+275 ,1500 - 3000 = 9. 0 sec
. 5 or 1. 5 MPG increase over stock. .
PS boost module,100 to 150 lower EGT's, same power.

I probably don't want to dyno mine yet (waiting to install Bill K's Torque Converter - mine is slipping big time with all the gadgets turned on).

But I may attend and have some EZ boxes for people try if they would like.

Absolutely! I have vacation from the 21st
thru the end of the month. I've had my
truck for 10 months now, and it has 16,000
miles; 14,000 of them with the PE box. My
clutch is starting to show signs of giving
up when I am in stage 3 though. That is the
only major mod, besides Amsoil air filter,
and no ring.
If I can make it I will bring my digital
camera and take some images. Also have a
nice Sony video camera and a video board in
my computer that I can use to convert them
to short Mpegs.
