Today's Chronicle business section says a group of investors is going to build a NASCAR-class stock car track at the intersection of SH 288 & FM 1462!



Instead of ET's, maybe we could compare lap times!

Bill, this location is right in my back yard. The complex is rumored to have hotels, water park, RV area, racetrack, and more when completed. The land has been purchased and the engineering is being completed on the first phase of the place. Another group of investors has purchased an additional 3000 acres next door to add their own 2 cents to the deal. Not sure what they plan to do.



Supposed to have several golf courses as well. I may retire and just move next door!!
