May Madness 03 - Whos going this year?

Houston Area Power Strokes.com April event will be at Navasota Raceway. The race track will open early just for the Diesels. We will BBQ for the first few hours. Then the track will open just for the Diesels for about an hour. The cost to enter the gate will be $5 per person, and if you want to race it will be an additional $10 for the day. When the track opens to the public at 6 PM we can still race. This is a test and tune night for the track so we will see some interesting races.

Navasota Raceway is a country racetrack that encourages the entire family to attend. The kids will have a great time. It is a great track for the amateur or first time racer. This track is an 1/8th mile track. Bracket racing enables the slower trucks the same chance to win as the faster trucks. There will be plenty of coaching available if you desire it.

Houston Area Power Strokes.com challenges LSTDR (Lone Star TDR) for the First Annual Bayou Bucket Race. This will be a Ford against Dodge against Chevy All Diesel Race. The winning club will have bragging rights till next year’s race. Trophy, hopefully a crankshaft that the winning club is to keep for a year. All races will be bracket racing that you dial in your time.

HAPS will host the DHRA (Diesel Hot Rod Association) Race later in the evening. This will be DHRA's Division 4 second race of the season. DHRA consist of 6 Divisions around the country. Each Division has 4-5 point’s races this year and the DHRA finals will be in Ennis, TX in November. To race for DHRA points, you must be a DHRA member. For more info on DHRA membership go to www.dhraonline.com. You will be able to join at the track. At this race all elimination’s will be bracket racing that you dial in your own time.
