Houston Performance Diesel??????

Any of you guys in Houston or where ever had any dealings with them... ... ... . Thinking about havein' them do my future transmission install... ... . Your comments would be much appreciated... ... ... Or better yet... ... any of you guys want to help a novice install a new transmission??????

I just talked to them today about the Texas Rally. I've never had work done by them so I can't really comment on that aspect.



Everyone I've talked to there was very nice. They also seem to have a handle on the diesel performance business. We've talked several times and just our conversations, I wouldn't hesitate on letting them work on my truck. I just prefer to do my own work. I may see if they can put my pump on a stand and calibrate it for me though.

I went and asked them about trannys. They deal with BD trannys, and I don't think that is what I want. Talked to Bob about it, GREAT GUY!!!

TXDieselKid... ... . BD is not my way to go either... ... But I know they have installed other brands of trannies..... Curious on how their service was and how their shoped looked... . In their pictures on the website the shop looked nice and clean.

Their shop was nice but nothing to out of the ordinary. Cleanner then many shops I have seen, and been too though.



Since I am kinda made up about getting a transmission now, let me say it like this... .



The DTT route, goto James in the DFW area. Heard WAY too many positive commits about him, and seems like a good guy too.



The ATS route, goto Tom (Briar Hopper) in Kentucky. Met him, and would LOVE to let this guy work on my truck. Hell, even though I could do the job here at home, I might just drive up there to let him install injectors(something I have done before, and know how to do) just to give him my bussiness.
