TDR members in **** Michigan

Houston & surrounding area, "Lets get organized!!"

I have been talking with several members and everybody is interested but no one wants to take on the responsibility. We need to be organized so we can be recognized! I would like to see in the near future a real turnout of some really KOOL!!Turbo Diesels!! We have the sq. miles of untapped opportunity not to mention the people that live in a 100-150 mile radius. We could be one of the biggest and the best! We just need to get it together! If anyone is interested, please E-mail me or post on this forum.

You rang? #ad

I certainly enjoyed the last time we got together. Just wish I could have stayed longer.
I can get something together as far as a website is concerned. I would need some input as to what type of design you guys would want. I am not a website expert so I'm learning as I go. I'll post a couple of different designs I've concocted in my secret web lab. If your interested either e-mail me or post here.

Joe-

I tried to nominate Bill Lins for Pres' and he would'nt accept it... something about to much work; or, maybe it was that long drive from Wharton in his sickly 12V that worried him.

I agree, Houston and the surrounding area should represent a large part of TDR's membership but I think we can count everyone on our fingers and toes.

Our first get together was March 2000 at the Cracker Barrel off of I45 North. We've met informally almost every month since then. Attendance varies from 5-12 depending on personal commitments.

Start thinking about a rally for 2001. We need some input on location (possibly a dealer), vendors, events, and so forth. We are working on a mailer to send out to everyone who attended Temple to get some ideas. Keep in touch.

It's a great start!

I believe the guy's had decided the chapter name would be the Lone Star Rammer's or Lone Star TDR.

I have a couple of jpeg's that I'll email for the site.

Great JOB!! I think that will really help get some intrest started. We really need to pin down a time and date for our next meet. Cracker Barrel sounds ok. But it might not be the best location for all. I think if we are to include our fellow prospective members, then the location should be equally located to all. How about this, everyone interested in coming give us their location and then we will have a better idea of a central location. Gitchesum, that web page is a pretty good start in the right direction. Do you have it listed with the search engines? Talk to you all later

Too busy trying to straighten architects out!

or, maybe it was that long drive from Wharton in his sickly 12V that worried him.

Actually, since I freed up my intake & exhaust, I think my governor quit working- used to be it fell on its face @ 2700 RPM & about 92 MPH- now it hits redline @ about 98 MPH with pedal left in 5th gear.

Still waiting to hear from the wee Scotteh- I'll let you know when he's going to hit town. Y'all wussed out in Nov. & Dec. so I went & partied with the Austin boys! (Not really- they weren't doing anything either!)

Let me know what y'all want to do! #ad

I made a few changes to the site. Added a few new pictures and other things. I also moved the site to a new server that doesn't have the pop-up ads. the new address is www.lstdr. f2s.com. If there's anything you'd like to see on the site let me know. Thanks for ideas I've got so far.
