In the bed of my truck I have a 15K air ride 5er hitch, a tool box mounted front with a spare trailer battery in battery box, complete set of small hand tools in plastic case, set of 3/4 sockets from 7/8" to 2. 5" with ratchet and breaker handle, tackle style box full of electrical repair stuff, a box with six spare quarts oil (why, I've only used at most one quart between changes?), a grease gun with the appropriate tips to grease the double u-joint on the front drive shaft, a gallon of antifreeze (like that would be enough for a Cummins if it sprung a leak... ) some brake fluid and power steering fluid, a pair of ez-lift stabilizer bars and frame mounts, a 12K 2" ball mount and finally, a bucket and some cleaning supplies. Other than that my truck bed is empty.

baby stroller, baby travel bed, 3 duffle bags filled with baby clothes, diapers, blankets and other various baby items, dog bed, dog towels, dog bowls and food, oh, and of course the 2adult suitcases and one queen size headboard for the first road trip to show family the newborn baby.

nothing... not even a tail gate.

Sometimes the dog.

Tomorrow I'll have a lot of crap in it. Pun intended! The GF and I are getting some manure for the gardens.

My truck bed contents

The wife and I are on a road trip from NE Ohio to San Diego to visit grandchildren. So right now I have a B&W companion fifth wheel hitch. An aluminum storage box with enough CI-4+ oil (9 gal) and Stratopore oil filters (3) for three oil changes. An oil drain pan. A couple fuel filters. Various tools including a ½” torque wrench for torqueing the wheel lug nuts after rotating tires every oil change. A box full of truck washing and cleaning supplies. A 20 ton two stage bottle jack. A set of triangle emergency road markers incase some one breaks down (not me). In the bed around the hitch are three boxes of toys for a one year old, also some in the storage box. Two boxes of toddler clothing. And a box of my son’s college books that I am finally getting out of the house. A 3 ft step ladder and a two gallon gas can for the generator. When not towing this is all covered and secured with a Back Flip tonneau cover and bull dog tail gate lock. That’s all folks.
