and how do yall like it,I am trying to decide between the sps62,silver62,or the siver bullet, which one for me,my truck is more of a street truck, tow my 33 ft camper occasionally, maybe 10 times a yr

03 4x4 auto,mbrp exh,tst/mp8,airdog,ats manifold,dtt transmission,II dual feed line,sittin on 20's,more to come turbo,injectors,mod cp3 :D

Just put a sps62/14 on my '03 last week, haven't had to tow heavy with it yet, waiting for my 60# boost gauge to come in... 35# just isn't enough.

Let me know how you like the sps 62 cause thats probably the one I will go with!!!!

I have the Phat Shaft 62/14. It has been a great dual purpose turbo. As always, I'm wondering if I could try something else and be happier. I pull 10-12,000 pounds, and I don't want to sacrifice the towing capability.

Super turbos are way better for towing... . they build boost way faster & you know you need that fast spoolup when you are pulling out on a hill. They shoot up to 45lbs boost before a standard charger can get to 20.

As soon as I get my VW back from having the mods installed, I'll get ahold of II about upgrading my Phat shaft to a super. . Thanks for the info. .

who makes the turbo you have,do you like it,whats the price on them???

I have a new Silver62, it replaced my SPS62 under warranty. So far, I can tell little difference, other than it seems to be louder in the exhaust. I have not towed with it yet, but just running around town it's performance(boost, egt) is about the same as the SPS62 was.

Shane at II said it should spool faster and higher rpm than the SPS62. I will know better after I tow with it. It sure is pretty, all polished up! :D

just curious what was youre dyno #'s when you had the sps62,was the silver 62 about $300. 00 more???

I could not get above 450hp 875tq no matter what combination of boxes/programmers I utilized. I found out the next day my rail relief valve was blown, what a big difference it made to cap it, but I have not had the opportunity to re-dyno.

I had to pay a difference of $275. 00 but $25. 00 of that was shipping, II treated me very well, I would highly recommend them.

im with you there also, i had to warantee a SPS62 and they treated me like a V. I. P. Industrial are some great guys to work with, i love my SPS. if you want to talk to someone running a SPS62 on a 3rd gen PM Cholman or i am sure he will be on here.

And your drive pressure dropped more making the motor work a little easier. To see a real difference between the two you are going to have to push each of them hard, that is were the silver is going to shine at. There was a guy that was sled pulling with a SPS 62 running at 70 psi, that is a guy that needs to up grade or go to a Silver 66.
