My son showed me pictures something similar a year or so ago. All I could think was being trapped in that thing and the truck catching fire. No thanks!

I can't speak to the upfitter but Junction is a stand up dealer. I drive all the way down there for any recalls I do on my truck. They have the closest competent diesel mechanics for this area.

Pretty common setup in eastern europe, they go all over europe that way.
Hot shot use most of the time.

Back in the days we had Class8 built the same way, not anymore, banned.
Let me see if I find an old picture...

So Oz why has Europe stayed with cabover trucks and they are few and far between in North America now a days. I drove a Chevy Titan 90 for 1976-1979, first at the wreck design!

In Europe the overall length of the vehicle combination is strictly limited.
With fifthwheel to 16.5 Meters and every other trailer to 18.5 Meters.
So the cab over is a necessity for cargo space. Also the roads are narrow and with sharp corners so even for Dump trucks shortness is very important.
Scania was the last Manufacturer of standard Cabs and stopped around decade ago.
