I've done some research about these filters. There is a lot of good things said about these filters.

Then some people say under high hp (boost) these filters will let dirt by.

Has anyone ran one for a period of time to get any oil tests done?

I'm not looking in to the stock replacement, I'm gearing toward an open filter like the BHAF or AFE's.

I have had one for aprox. 8 months now. I think its the 4090. I don't have oil tests done but maybe someone else could chime in on that. Its easy to clean, just use a shop-vac. It sure does make the turbo sing.

I have been thinking of using to smaller filters on a "y" connection. Have to check the airflow specs. on the smaller ones. Just thought it would be something different.

My last analysis at 67,000 miles, Silicon was 20 ppm. and was not "flagged". I clean the air filter every year, using 30PSI compressed air.

mine's been in for over 2 years. i take it out occassionally and vacuum it off.

the amazing thing to me, is that no oil residue collects on it like the standard paper filters.

I have a modified air box (home made cold air intake) and the filter minder is consistently pulled to about 1/2. I know they're not particularly accurate, but that's the deal. I pull my filter out about once per month and blow it out. It definitely keeps the dust in the filter. Right now, there is a lot of dust on the roads due to winter sanding. With the intake in front of the front tire, I'm sure I pull up a lot of dust. The filter seems to stop it.
