How do I become a vendor for a company?

I have a lot of people coming to me lately wanting me to order things for them, gauges, boxes, etc. Also wanting prices on exhaust systems, boxes, etc, etc.



How do I go about becoming a vendor through a company? How do I find one that will allow me to vend through them?

Mark,

Some companies want you to purchase "X" amount of merchandise from them to become a dealer of their product.



Or some will just require that you have a "merchant retail certificate" basically a tax number or business license.
