How do I choose what forums will show up in "View New Posts" and searches?

On the forums list in the far left column you will see a round button with an S inside of it. It will either be a grey button or a red button with a slash through the S. If the button is grey then posts from that forum will show up if you do a "View New Posts", "Get Last Days Posts", or a default search. If the button is red then posts from that forum will not be displayed. To change the setting just click on that round button.



When doing searches the default is to "Search Default Forums" which are those that have the grey button displayed. You can also change that to "Search All Forums" to search on everything or to the individual forum you wish to search.

No they can't.

thank-you for your answer, i did have the filters set. i was just looking for a way to look back through the filters for a given period of time quickly, because ocassionally while reviewing the filtered posts, have been timed out, and i assume the review post since last visited feature is date stamped when first return to site, so when a time out occurs before done perusing i lose all threads in that dataset, the only way i can review further than 1 day back(like over a weekend) is to review each forum
