I am looking into purchasing the Abbott speedometer calibration module for my '99 and I understand that it is difficult to make it work with 4 wheel ABS. I know that I have ABS, but is there a real obvious way of telling whether I have 4 wheel ABS or 2?

Also, is the 2 wheel ABS normally on the front or rear? Is 2 wheel ABS standard on all '99's?

Thanks!

All trucks have RWAL on them. Rear Wheel Anti-Lock. This is mandated from Uncle Sam. If you have 4 Wheel ABS you will see wiring going to a sensor on the back side of both front hubs. The Speedometer recalibration unit should work on both styles because the rear wheel and 4 wheel systems both use the sensor mounted in the top of the rear axle over the ring gear for the speedometer as well as the rear part of the abs. Hope I didn't confuse you as it is hard to explain when you are not looking at the truck pointing out the parts.
