Haven't heard a peep about the new ATS twins..

24v head on a 12V(first Gen)

I got a turbo today. It is a Holset, it appears quite large has wastegate on it. How do I tell by the numbers on it what it is? I know it needs a bearing and probably a rebuild. I got it to make a set of twins.

Here ya go :-laf

(A) Assembly or Part Number

Holset Part/Assembly Number for the turbocharger is the number quoted in all Holset publications and is the most useful number for service purposes.

(B) Serial Number

Holset Serial Number is unique to your turbocharger. This number can be used to identify which turbo you have although it will be a longer process than if quoting (A).

(C) Customer Part Number

Customer Part Number is the number given to the turbocharger by the engine manufacturer. This number will be quoted in all the engine manufacturers' literature. There may be more than one Customer Part Number for each Holset Part Number (A).

(D) Turbocharger Type

Turbocharger Type describes the model or frame size of your Holset Turbocharger.
