How do I wire in a switch to keep the fan from coming on?

Hi guys - it's getting way cold around here and sometimes it seems like I'll have my truck paid off before it will come up to temperature #ad
I read how some of you have removed the fan altogether, but would it really be that much more work to put it on a relay triggered with a switch in the cab? Then you wouldn't have to put it back in during the summer or when you have to tow in the winter. I was positive I saw instructions in a past issue of TDR, but I can't seem to find it. Anybody got info? Thanks

Silly me. I was under the impression it was controlled by an electric thermostat that could be controlled somehow. Obviously not. Merry Christmas

Articat,
Now that you are doing the post DEER modifications (and repairs), why not fab a piece of paneling to fit infront of your radiator.

Works great, give me a ring!!
